| Tactics: |
Utilize financial and capacity-strengthening resources provided by Wells Fargo's initial contribution of $200,000 and buildings, to develop a comprehensive educational program directly targeted to the needs of economically-challenged students.
Provide ongoing professional direction, training and support for teachers and staff through a local university to improve the curriculum and resources.
Through the help of partners, The Accelerated School (TAS) received fully-equipped classrooms, art studios, parent center, professional development center for teachers, outdoor learning centers, a community garden, health center, publicly accessible library, media, theatre and recreation facilities.
