J.B. Sutton Elementary School and Intel
(Phoenix, Arizona)

Goal: Improve achievement and strengthen student motivation at an urban elementary school.
Strategy: Tap the power of technology to improve mathematics and science education and prepare students for information age.
Tactics: Intel joined J.B. Sutton to create a technology-driven partnership to improve teaching, student literacy, and computer and engineering instruction.

Partnership involves Intel's senior managers, including an education specialist, teachers and community members working together on a strategic plan.

Partnership enables Intel to provide expertise directly related to corporate mission - science, technology, engineering and mathematics - along with personnel resources committed to literacy, community-building and parental involvement.
